ResumeBold is a digital Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform providing resume-building and related premium features through online access. By purchasing any paid plan or feature on ResumeBold, you agree to this Refund Policy.
1. Nature of Service
- ResumeBold provides digital services only.
- No physical goods are shipped or delivered.
- Paid features are activated instantly upon successful payment confirmation.
2. General Refund Rule
All payments made to ResumeBold are non-refundable, except in the limited circumstances expressly stated in this policy.
Refunds are strictly not available once:
- A resume has been exported or downloaded; or
- Premium features have been accessed, unlocked, or consumed; or
- Subscription benefits have been activated.
3. Eligible Refund Scenarios
Refunds may be considered only under the following narrow conditions:
a) Duplicate Payment
You were charged more than once for the same transaction due to a payment processing error.
b) Verified Technical Failure
A verifiable technical issue attributable solely to ResumeBold prevented activation or delivery of the purchased service.
c) Verified Unauthorized / Fraudulent Transaction
A transaction is proven to be unauthorized or fraudulent following review and verification. If you suspect unauthorized use of your payment method, contact your bank or card issuer immediately, as ResumeBold's ability to independently verify fraud may be limited.
4. Refund Request Window
- Refund requests must be submitted within 48 hours of the transaction timestamp.
- Requests submitted after 48 hours will not be considered, except where required by applicable law.
5. Review and Verification
All refund requests are subject to manual review.
ResumeBold may verify:
- Account activity and login records
- Payment confirmation
- Feature access logs and usage data
- Technical delivery records
Submission of a refund request does not guarantee approval.
6. Processing Timeline
- If approved, refunds will be initiated to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.
- Actual credit timelines may vary depending on Razorpay, issuing banks, card networks, and payment partners.
7. Subscription Cancellations
- Cancellation stops future billing from the next billing cycle onwards.
- Access to premium features continues until the end of the current billing period.
- Cancellation does not entitle the user to a retroactive refund for the current billing cycle.
8. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be provided for:
- Change of mind after purchase
- Dissatisfaction based on personal preference where features were accessible
- Failure to use activated services
- Incomplete refund requests lacking transaction details
- Requests made beyond the 48-hour window
9. Chargebacks and Disputes
Users are encouraged to contact ResumeBold at [email protected] before initiating a chargeback.
If a chargeback is filed after valid service delivery, ResumeBold reserves the right to:
- Defend the dispute using payment and usage records
- Suspend or restrict account access during investigation
10. Payment Compliance
Payments are processed via Razorpay and regulated payment channels. Refund handling will align with Razorpay's operational procedures, applicable Indian laws and regulations, and payment network rules.
ResumeBold reserves the right to request additional information reasonably necessary for fraud prevention and compliance.
